Current UTM & UTSC Students

UTM/UTSC degree students interested in transferring to the Faculty of Arts & Science must first apply for admission consideration to the Faculty of Arts & Science and meet the minimum admission requirements established by Enrolment Services. The Criminology and Sociolegal Studies Program Office does not administer this process. Students wishing to be considered for admission to the Criminology and Sociolegal Studies major program will select the “St. George Campus, Social Sciences” stream on the application form and identify "Criminology and Sociolegal Studies" as the preferred program of study.

Once you have applied to the Faculty of Arts & Science and are issued an offer of admission, you must accept the offer. This will trigger the transfer credit assessment of your previous studies (this process is obligatory). The assessment is done by the Transfer Credit Office, Faculty of Arts & Science (not our office). Procedural information will be included with your offer of admission. It is crucial that you follow the procedures for the transfer credit assessment right away as the process can be time consuming.
