Biography : 

Daniel is a PhD student at the Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies and a Graduate Fellow at the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. He is interested in the intersection of criminology and science and technology studies (STS), with an emphasis on police technologies, big data surveillance, and predictive justice. Daniel’s worked on a number of interdisciplinary projects on topics such as serial homicide, cannabis law, and the organizational behaviour of robbery teams. Prior to his PhD, Daniel volunteered for the John Howard Society’s Centre of Research, Policy & Program Development, where he assisted with projects on bail reform and police record checks.
