Upcoming Events at the Centre this Winter

January 9, 2023 by Eunillyne Lazado

The winter term is at full speed at CrimSL, and so are this term's events. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Canadiana Gallery for more engaging lectures for the U of T community.

See below for the upcoming series of events taking place at the Centre this term:

CrimSL Speaker Series

This lunchtime speaker series is a way to introduce students and the CrimSL community to various research styles, substantive issues, and theoretical perspectives in the fields of criminology and sociolegal studies. This winter, we are excited to host scholars from far and wide to present their works of all stages that will ignite critical thought and thinking, collaboration, and more.

Similar to previous years, a light lunch will be served at 12:00 pm in the Centre Lounge, followed by the talk in the Ericson Room (CG 265) starting at 12:30 pm.

Attendance at the CrimSL Speaker Series is free. However, registration via Eventbrite is required. More information about the talks is available on the CrimSL Events webpage.

Research Cluster Speaker Series

The Research Cluster Speaker Series lectures bring scholars and professionals who are exploring, investigating, and working on subjects of racism, inequality, and other related topics.

Attendance at all CrimSL Research Cluster events is free. However, registration via Eventbrite is required. More information about the talks is available on the CrimSL Research Cluster webpage.
