Secondary School Students

Criminology and Sociolegal Studies is NOT a direct entry program in the Faculty of Arts & Science, University of Toronto. Faculty of Arts & Science students choose their program of study after completion of first year and admission to this program is not guaranteed.

The application process (OUAC) does ask students to list their interest and preferred programs. Please note that listing Criminology on your application does NOT mean that you will be admitted to Criminology and Sociolegal Studies if you chose to come to the University of Toronto.

If you are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science as a first year student and wish to study Criminology and Sociolegal Studies in the subsequent year please make sure you enrol in the right combination of courses. How to apply for admission to the Faculty of Arts & Science, University of Toronto

The Program Office does not administer the admissions process to the Faculty of Arts & Science. There are no specific secondary school courses required as prerequisites for first year courses leading to the Criminology and Sociolegal Studies program in the Faculty of Arts & Science, University of Toronto.

Secondary student must meet the admission requirements for the Faculty of Arts & Science (St George Campus). Students admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science are admitted to an area of study (Social Sciences, Humanities, Sciences or Commerce).
