CrimSL Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Jihyun Kwon presented a paper at ComplianceNet 2023 on June 23, 2023, in the panel session entitled "Compliance and Human Rights."
Circumventing Change: Prison Oversight, Data Governance, and the Chameleonic Nature of 'Segregation', was researched by Kwon collaboratively with CrimSL Professor Kelly Hannah-Moffat and Professor Kelly Struthers Montford of Toronto Metropolitan University.
ComplianceNet 2023 was held at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC, June 21-23, 2023.
