CrimSL 2025 Welcome to the Program Event
When and Where
Description
The Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies (CrimSL) would like to extend a warm welcome to all undergraduate students who formalized their Criminology and Sociolegal Studies Major program in the summer of 2025.
Join us on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm at our "Welcome to the Program Event."
Come and meet CrimSL instructors and hear about opportunities and services available to you. There will be an undergraduate studies representative on hand to answer questions about the program.
The welcome event will feature:
- Matthew Light, Associate Professor and Undergraduate Coordinator, CrimSL
- Danielle Van Wagner, Head Librarian, CrimSL and CIRHR libraries
- Undergraduate instructors, CrimSL
- Beatrix Doma, Undergraduate Administrator, CrimSL
- Undergraduate student representatives of the Criminology & Sociolegal Studies Students' Association (CRIMSA) and the U of T Undergraduate Criminology Review (UTUCR)
Refreshments will be available.
The event is invitation-only. Registration is required.
We look forward to meeting our undergraduate students, welcoming them to CrimSL, and wishing them a great year ahead!

Accessibility
The Canadiana Gallery main entrance is served by a ramp and the entrance door features an automatic no-touch wave switch for door opening. The all-gender washroom on the main floor is accessible. The CrimSL Library is accessible by vertical lift.
