Congratulations to Dr. Alexander Luscombe, who successfully defended his doctoral thesis “Digital footprints of the policing web: A study of police economic crime investigation using natural language processing and machine learning,” on November 30th, 2023. Alex’s thesis was passed “as it stands.”

I’d like to commend Alex on producing such an impressive piece of work. It is evident that a great deal of thought and effort went into the development of the thesis and preparing for the defence.
